Hope you're making good progress with your current projects.

Hope you'll resume blogging before too terribly long!

I write fantasy, not romance, but there can be romance and sex in fantasy novels, too. I am curious from your posting how standards have changed over time. In a typical, mainstream romance novel of today, is the "f-word" acceptable?

I ask because it appears fifty million times in the first draft of my current WIP, and I'm just wondering how publishers might react to that, or explicit scenes. The bar is constantly moving. Any thoughts?
