On the matter of authorly anxiety, I have to say, since I don’t google myself, most of the time I don’t even know I’ve been reviewed until either the reviewing site or a reader tell me. Or, if it’s a site or blog I frequent, until I go there the next time.

My mom is a dreader, in the sense that a lot of times she works herself up about things that haven’t happened yet. I’ve grown up the opposite. I don’t think too far ahead. Life is what happens when you are making other plans. Reviewing is what happens when you are writing other books. :-)
